The main dish here is the flying fish. Everything is fresh and well prepared. The flavour is Indonesian. The chilli which is served on the side give an added kick to the flavour. Love it. The price is reasonable as well.

First time I had the fish head curry, and it's so delicious! It's an Indonesian restaurant with strong traditional flavors and ambience. It gets a bit noisy here. Good for family meals to share.

Nice very busy seafoods restaurant. Beware, the bill you received amount on credit card the Cashier added more knowing we just sign blindly.This restaurant was highly reccommended by friends in Singapore.

Good seafood restaurant in the heart of Jakarta. I was there for dinner on the weekend and it was really crowded! I guess reservation was necessary.I ordered several food such as crab, prawn, squid, grilled fish, and veggie. Most of the food was great! However, the crab was disappointing. The crab meat was a bit bitter and the sauce is not strong enough. Moreover, it was the most expensive menu item that we ordered.I also ordered beer and it was not cold enough.Overall, it was a good experience. The price is reasonable and the service is good. I will visit again.

A must go to place if you're visiting Jakarta for the first time and want to taste decent Sunda style of cooking. The extra sambal, seafood tofu, and famous fried flying fish is a must try. The pricing is decent, wait times average.

All time favorite. Reasonably priced and lots of good foods. My favorite: fried gurame, grilled prawns, tahu kipas (fried stuff tofu).

The sayur asam is not as good as before though and the es Merah delima even the portion is bigger now but I think the old days taste better

a bit overrated place if I were to be more honest, the only thing that is pleasing my tongue is their Tahu Kipas, while the others taste just okay but sometimes can also be a bit overly flavored which made me crave for more rice to neutralize it. a Non Smoking diner which is good for the environment but bad for me. And perhaps it's just me, but I was always drenched in sweat every time I visit this place, something about this place seems to block the breeze and constantly accumulate the heat in the surrounding area.

A little bit pricy but surely worth the price. Everything I eat there are delicious. Just name it, shrimp, crab, fish, fish head.. Simply delicious, even for fruit stall at the entrance is also outstanding.

Nice and authentic Indonesian food. Majority of the crowd are local and it’s located not at an easily accessible location. The food is excellent. The fish is nice and there is no fishy taste. I would recommend to go there for those who want to have some good local food.

Really good places, there is room for birthday party and nice place, taste so delicious, friendly staff, but there is other charges to bring something from outside..

It is a legendary indonesian restaurant for decades. Even my foreigner friends know about this place. The downstair seatings are not air conditioned, so be prepared. Our favorite menus are fried gurame, kangkung cha that we always order extra. Salted crab is also gem. Tahu kipas has lost its touch, lately the taste is not as good as before, came up a bit oily too. Service is usually quick, ask for the guy in white shirt if for seating arrangements.

Magnificent food at an affordable price. A bit more expensive than your typical seafood place, but the taste different is also apparent. The shrimp and fish menus are especially good. Be sure to grab a coconut drink as well.

One of the legendary family seafood restaurant in Jakarta, its quite big and spacious, parking space its quite a headache especially during rush hour. They always crowded in the weekend, is not recommended to eat here during the weekend or holiday season, because you'll have to wait for minimum 1hour before the food is served, (the service is quite bad especially in a rush hour). Must try the stuffed tofu (tahu kipas)

Good food good place bit pricy

When we came with a group of 5, the waiters were busy chatting and ignored us. When we sat at our table, the male waiter (age around 27), gave us a bad attitude and spoke rudely to my family member. And the food was still the same for 10 years, so nothing new. I think we got bored and wont be visiting this restaurant anymore. There are tons of better seafood restaurants in JAKARTA.

Heard of the legendary must-try fried fish & thus made my way to Pondok Laguna. Ordered a spread and every dish were amazing. Price was good & service was fast deapite full seating. Will definitely visit again when in Jarkata & highly recommend to anyone to try this legendary fried fish.

One of the first and well known seafood restaurant in the area. You can tell its past glory just from the ambiance of the restaurant. The food are still very good and all the servers are as friendly as ever. Spacious parking space so you wont have any problems in terms of parking.I would recommend foreigners to visit as this place offers a different taste of seafood in Jakarta. Their Deep Fried Squid and Tahu Kipas is just excelent

This is an old favourite place for my family. My uncle and auntie used to take us here for eat out during weekend. I completely forget about it until an overseas friends came here and requested to meet up in this place.Rendezvous their tahu kipas, ikan gurame goreng, sate, and cumi goreng.

The food was awesome and the quantity was sufficient. The seafood was worth the trip. But don't order chicken.

The fried crispy gurame, fish head curry and tofu are always my favorites. The only drawback is they dont have air conditioned for this delicious eatery so be prepare to be sweaty while eating

Excellent food. Reasonable price. Downstairs is a bit warm with mosquitoes but up one floor is airconditioned.
